"GAZSURF" STARTED SHIPMENT OF ASU EQUIPMENT FOR "GRODNO AZOT"

The engineering company “GazSurf” has started shipment of equipment for a cryogenic air separation unit (ASU) as part of the reconstruction of production facilities of the branch “Plant Khimvolokno” of JSC “Grodno Azot” (Republic of Belarus).

The installation equipment is made in a block-modular design, high factory readiness with the possibility of quick docking at the Customer’s site.

The delivery set will include blocks of the air pre-cooling, air cleaning and drying system, a tube expander and a separation unit.

Cryogenic ASU is designed for reliable production of gaseous nitrogen for the technological needs of the enterprise.

In addition, the engineering company “GazSurf” will carry out installation supervision and commissioning of equipment.

The supply of a cryogenic ASU is one of the stages of modernization of existing facilities as part of the project for the construction of a new nitrogen complex at Grodno Azot OJSC.

The branch “Plant Khimvolokno” JSC “Grodno Azot” (Republic of Belarus) is a major manufacturer of polyamide and polyester yarns and fibers, as well as polyamide-6 (PA-6) and polymer composite materials based on it.
