"GazSurf" carried out maintenance of the ASU at the Baikonur Cosmodrome

GazSurf has completed the maintenance of the air separation unit (ASU) at the oxygen-nitrogen plant of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

In the process of maintenance, the operation was checked and routine maintenance was performed on the equipment of the plant, as well as centrifugal air compressors manufactured by Cameron (Ingersoll Rand).

Liquid oxygen and nitrogen obtained at the oxygen-nitrogen plant are used as components of rocket fuel, as well as for other technological operations.

In addition, air separation products are supplied to the Vostochny and Plesetsk cosmodromes.
